About us
Sint Antonius Stichting Projecten (SAS-P) is a philanthropic foundation dedicated to supporting high-performing organisations that unleash the potential of people living in poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa. SAS-P is recognised as an ANBI (Public Benefit Organization).
We fund organisations that can demonstrate durable and meaningful social impact and have a clear vision. A SAS-P grant is meant to help these organisations to prove, grow, and scale their solutions.
Our thematic focus areas are:
- Health
- Education
- Dignified Homes
- Sustainable Livelihoods
As we believe that African-led and/or founded organisations are best positioned to address the challenges in their communities, SAS-P increasingly directs its grants toward them.

Over the years, SAS-P has funded hundreds of great initiatives across more than 30 African countries, driving impact for millions of people. We realise that organisations in some African countries have significantly more access to funding than in others. Therefore, we prioritise initiatives in and from the following countries:
- Burkina Faso
- Burundi
- DRC
- Ethiopia
- Liberia
- Malawi
- Mali
- Mozambique
- Sierra Leone
- Zimbabwe
Please note that SAS-P considers funding applications by invitation only. Unsolicited applications or proposals are not accepted. If your organisation is invited to apply, you will receive instructions on the process. For an overview of our portfolio of grantee partners, please go here.
